1. Purpose
This page explains how to request deletion of your DailyDish account and associated data.
Account deletion can be requested directly from the DailyDish application when this option is available, or by contacting our support team.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your account:
- from the DailyDish application, through your account settings;
- or by contacting support at the following address: mydailydishapp@gmail.com.
For security reasons, we may ask you to confirm your identity or prove that you are the holder of the account concerned.
3. Data Deleted
When your account is deleted, DailyDish deletes the data associated with your account from its active systems, including:
- your DailyDish user account;
- your saved recipes;
- your texts, images, notes, categories and preferences;
- your meal planning data;
- files or content associated with your account;
- data directly related to the use of your personal space.
4. Effect on Sharing Links
If you have shared recipes by link, deletion of your account or of the relevant recipes may make this content inaccessible.
However, people who have already viewed, copied or saved shared content before its deletion may keep a copy outside DailyDish.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
Deleting your DailyDish account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play.
If you have an active subscription, you must also manage or cancel it from your Apple App Store or Google Play account, depending on the platform used for the purchase.
DailyDish does not collect your full banking details and cannot always directly cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google.
6. Processing Time
We make best efforts to process deletion requests within a reasonable time.
However, certain data may be temporarily retained in backups, technical logs or security systems, or where retention is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or ensure the security of the service.
7. Data Retained by Third Parties
Certain data may be retained by our technical providers, payment platforms or app stores in accordance with their own rules and legal obligations.
This may include Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Firebase or any other provider necessary for the operation of the service.
8. Final Nature of Deletion
Deletion of your account is final.
Once deletion has been completed, your recipes, content and associated data may no longer be recoverable. We recommend that you save any information you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
